Göcek, situated at the northern end of the Gulf of Fethiye and only half an hour from Dalaman airport, is an excellent starting point to go sailing the Turkish coast. Kekova Island, is situated in front of the ruins of Andriake and Aperlae. Its lizard shape and numerous Lycian sarcophagus that mark the whole shore and lie semi-submerged, give it a ghostly beautiful look. In the southern part of the island, we find the small Karaloz beach, an ideal place to spend the night under the stars or spend the day bathing or fishing in its waters.
Gokkaya Bay is protected by a group of islands that guard its entrance and configured the narrow channels. The set resembles a scale model of the Norwegian fjords and in the interior we will only find quietness, a small freshwater spring that makes the bath even more refreshing bath and a small restaurant where you can enjoy traditional Turkish food ...and most recently a holiday camp.
